Physician reports: "A 55 year-old gentleman and small-business owner was experiencing deteriorating health from liver disease and recurrent variceal bleeding due to obesity and fatty liver disease. He used all of ADELANTE's nutritional and lifestyle services and classes and this resulted in having several markers and symptoms improved to the point that the local Liver Transplant Unit judged him fit to be taken off the transplant list. He has not had variceal bleeding again."  

"A 51 year-old lady, survivor of intimate partner violence from a previous marriage found relief from chronic depression and associated gastrointestinal symptoms after attending the stress management and nutritional sessions.
